Cat6k Ios 12.2.18: IfDescr Unrouted Interface ?

Hi,

I've just migrated my Data Center in Sup720 12.2.18 and i've discovered with snmpwalk some interfaces referenced as unrouted interface.

In fact, that's all my vlan's configured on the switch.

Does this value represent the total traffic switched locally on the Cat6k ?

regards

Cedric

An unrouted interface usually reflects a layer 2 VLAN

ex)

ifDescr.63: Vlan 2

This refers to the SVI (switch virtual interface or L3 vlan interface)

ifDescr.69: unrouted VLAN 2

This refers to the L2 vlans or the output from 'show vlan'.

so the unrouted will give you all L2 traffic on that VLAN
