hello
I have installed CiscoWorks LMS 3.2 on Windows 2008 server VM on ESX4.1 but Cisco daemon manager don't start.
I have try manual restart the service and I I have also restart the VM but it not woking.
please can you help on this.

Hi ,
--configure the swap size to double the size of RAM on the server and then check the issue..
--Also add casuser into the administrator group

Please try the previous steps and let me know how it works !!!

If above does not works then
Try to Reset the Casuser as below :
go to Command Prompt :
NMSROOT\CSCOpx\setup\support >resetCasuser.exe
then try to Restart the Daemon Manager . If issue still exist then attach the Erro Sceen shot and syslog.log (If possible)

thik for your reponse,I have messing the message whene I try to restart the service I get this message below:
please confime if you have some cas. before i try to do your solution

hello,
think you for your assiatnce,but I get another probleme.
when I login in the LMS portal I get an erreur.the pages can not be redirected.
any idde on this.

open regedit.exe, and create or modify the following registry key DWORDs: HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Zones\0\1A10 : DWORD : 0 HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Zones\1\1A10 : DWORD : 0 HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Zones\2\1A10 : DWORD : 1 HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Zones\3\1A10 : DWORD : 1 HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Zones\4\1A10 : DWORD : 3 Then restart CiscoWorks Daemon Manager
