You can disable or enable Cisco Discovery Protocol (CDP). CDP allows the phone to be discovered by the CiscoWorks network management system. IP Phones cannot be simply discovered as they do not have SNMP. However, Call Manager support both CDP/SNMP which can be discovered if it is configured correctly. Once Call Manager is discovered, IP Phone table can be discovered in UT assuming Call Manager has all the correct IP Phone info (Detailed Call Records/History). You will need to work with your Call Manager people to figure how to configure Call Manager correctly.
