Hi,
i am new to Cisco ISE and im not that expirenced yet.
I have to move the ISE License from local Cisco SSM On-Prem to another Cisco SSM On-Prem.
Till ISE and local Cisco SSM On-Prem are linked for License usage, the License can't be moved to the other Cisco SSM On-Prem. So the first step is to Deregister ISE, but what happens after the Deregistration, does ISE fallback into Evaluation Mode and everything still keep working or are there instantly limitations?
Greetings

When you deregister Cisco ISE from your current SSM on‑Prem, the node will revert to its built‐in Evaluation license. In this mode, ISE continues to process authentications and run normally, but you’re limited to the evaluation cap (typically 100 endpoints) and the remaining duration of the 90‑day evaluation period.
In short, there isn’t an immediate service disruption; however, once the evaluation period expires or if you exceed its limits you will face restrictions (such as loss of administrative control) until you register a valid production license on the new SSM on‑Prem.
For more details, you can refer to Cisco’s documentation and community discussions such as the Cisco ISE 2.4 Admin Guide: Licensing https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/ise/2-4/admin_guide/reorg/b_license_2_4.html
