Cisco Prime 3.2.0.0.258 Topology Link disappear issue

Hi Team,

We have Cisco PI 3.2 in which we have few concerns as listed below, expert opinion on below would be appreciated.

1. We can see entire topology map in cisco PI 3.2 however when any optical uplink goes down will receive an alarm and along with that their corresponding link in Topology map will disappear rather than showing red mark on the link? and whenever its come online that link reappear in topology map. I want to do if any optical/network uplink goes down then it will only prompt red/alarm markup in topology map rather that removing/disappearing that link from the map. Do we have any provision/setting to do the same or its default behavior of PI 3.2? as i worked on previous PI version in which whenever uplink goes down we had any alarm plus red mark on topology map.

2. Under topology map when we see the all link status (A side and Z side) we can see link related critical alarm would be their even link is up and working fine? we couldn't understand representation of that link status in topology map due to this we see red critical link markup on topology map? Please refer attached screenshot for your understanding. we just want if link goes down there should be red critical markup on topology map and if link come up that markup should goes away.

3. Can we add any generic device in PI based on ICMP reachability so if ping goes down PI declare that device as down and provide alarm and topology representation in cisco PI or any alternative which can achieve this requirement?

Your help would be appreciated.
