Cisco Prime Infrastructure 2 - compliance,EOL/EOS

Hi,

Since this week I am evaluating Cisco Prime Infrastructure 2 and I have a few questions:

- Some configuration rules are mandatory. Is it possible to run custom compliance reports with a custom baseline template? Where/how can I make a baseline template?

- Where can I find EOL/EOS information for our devices?

Thanks in advance,

Marnix

Hi Marnix,

unfortunately , you can't create custome reports in PI yet , planned for future release.

Baseline Templates are also not supported yet.

check the below link for feature support in PI:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/netmgtsw/ps6504/ps6528/ps12239/guide_c07-729089.html

You can use cisco. com and google to know the EOS/EOL of your device.

Thanks-
Afroz

Afroz,

Thank you for your reply. We would like, if it is possible, to proactively informed when devices become EOL/EOS soon in the software. Searching EOL/EOS dates by hand is impossible when monitoring 1500+ active devices.

My questions are answered, thank you!

Marnix

For EoS/EoL you can load your devices into the free Cisco Active Advisor tool.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps13221/index.html

Once you get them all loaded, you will get regular advisories on EoS/EoL and PSIRTs.

You can also use Prime LMS (separate server, license included with PI) which does generate those reports.

Hi There,

I'm not sure if we are talking about the same thing, but we are running Prime Infrastructure 2.0.

You have to enable compliance from the settings (restart) and if you look under Report / Report Launch Pad, in the menu on the left is Device, click on there and you will see EOX ...... I've only had a quick look at the reports, but looks to work.
