Cisco Prime Infrastructure Alerts: Name of Device in Email Subject Line

Hi There

Using Cisco Prime Infrastructure 3.3. Is there any way to edit the subject line of email alerts so that they contain the device name?

I would like this so that I can identify what switches/routers are down at a glance rather than having to go in and out of individual emails.

            Select Admin > Network >  Notification and Action Settings > Fault - Email subject  customization.

I dont have those menu option, they must be for LMS or previous version

Hi,

In Prime Infrastructure, you do not have option to add device name in  email subject line:

Following action can only be performed:

Administration / Settings / System Settings

Alarms and Events

Include alarm severity in the email subject line
	Include alarm Category in the email subject line
	Include prior alarm severity in the email subject line
	Include custom text in the email subject line
	Custom Text:
	Replace the email subject line with custom text
