Cisco Prime Infrastructure (and LMS) is generally not supported when changing the database or other file locations from those specified in the installation script (e.g., under $nmshome$) built into the ova distribution files.
It's likewise when running LMS as a Windows VM.

With Prime Infrastructure 1.2 and up in a VM environment, you are now able to add extra space to the pool. It however must be added as a new disk.
