Cisco Security Services Proxy 2.0 iso fails installation

We are trying to set out SecureX.

Step one for us is to install the CSSP 2.0 virtual machine.

When run the step to "select and Install software" it fails.

We have tried doing this with "Secure boot" disabled and enabled, with and without EFI.

The same result happens everytime.

Has anyone tried this who has the on prem license server?

Yes we did try bypassing this step only to be confronted with the EFI issue.

The workaround for that doesn't make a difference either.

Hello,

which VMWare software are you running ?

Vsphere HTML 5, VSphere Client version 7.0.3.00300

I know it asks for proxy information during the installation.

When we apply proxy information to devices we usually just put in the FQDN and port number if required.

This is asking for username information along with the FQDN and port number.

Seems like it wants an account to access our proxy, or is it asking for the account created on the CSSP?

I would find that odd.

Hello,

tough one. I do not have access to the SSE portal, there seems to be an installation guide somewhere there, in the Downloads section...

I got a reply back from the TAC eng that suggested we go ahead and select "Install GRUB" and proceed.

We don't need to enter information into the proxy section, we figured at the start so didn't initially.

There is a PDF document that we read but it's not detailed into all the steps just the basics.

Our systems team will probably give it a try again today, I hope.
