Hi!

I have problems with cisco works, i can perform the device discovery in order to add new devices that are in a new network. when the discovery finish, ciscoworks find 15 devices (i'm able to see them in the summary) but when i try to make a report, the new devices does not appear and i can not see them in the inventory dashboard.

any idea?

(attached is the log of the discovery)

Hi,

Assuming this is LMS 3.x:

Following are the steps to enable debugging :

1.Go to the screen Common Services >> Device and Credentials >>
DeviceDiscovery >> Discovery Logging Configuration.

2.Move all the modules from the Disabled Modules column to Enabled Modules column in the dual column selector 3.Click the Apply button 4.Run the discovery and wait till the discovery to complete 5. Collect the logs (NMSRoot/log/ngdiscovery.log, and NMSRoot/log/csdiscovery.log.)

However there is a defect related to enablling debugs:

Thanks

I will try that, but is lms 4.1

the solution was..

1.Stop Daemons

c:\net stop  crmdmgtd

2. Reset  Casuser:

\CSCOpx\setup\support\resetCasuser.exe (This will ask you  to enter a new

password, you can use option one to generate it  randomly, or option 2 to

enter your own password, normally I use  option 1)

3.Restart Daemons

c:\net start  crmdmgtd

4. Check the NMSROOT/CSCOpx/objects/dmgt/ready folder,  wait until there are

no files in that folder, and then login to  LMS.
