Greetings,

I had to change the IP Address of my Cisco Works Server. After shutting down the Cisco Works Service, Changing the IP address and rebooting the server. I'm now unable to connect the the local Cisco Works web page on this server. What step did I miss or is it even possible to change the IP Address on a Cisco Works Server and everything continues to work properly?

Thank yo for you help!!!!

Hi ,

There are no caveats when changing the IP address of the LMS box.
LMS uses hostname for most communication. The only thing to double-check if you change the IP address is that the new IP continues to resolve correctly to the same hostname i.e. nslookup

Thanks

Afroj,  Thank you for your response. NSlookup does resolve to the correct hsot name. It appears that all the other functions are working except gain access to the the Cisco Works Web page. I get the message that the page cannot be displayed. Any ideas? Thank you for your time and help!!!!

-screen shot of the SERVICES.MSC window with all cisco woks servuces..

--output of pdshow

Afroj,  I'm now able to get to the Cisco Works Web Page. In the environmental path I had to move the legato path to the end after all the Cisco Works services. Now I'm unable to login. Not sure why. Any suggestions.

Thank you!!!
