Hi,

I try installing ciscoworks 2000 (3rd Edition) on NT server. It runs the installation, but does appear in Start>Prog> Ciscoworks2000.

Inside the CiscoWorks2000 (in Programs) I can only * see the Add/delete Device

* Chnge Integration options

* Uninstallation

Thats all I see under Ciscoworks2000. I cannot see ciscoview or RME.

However IPM installs well and runs and is there in Programs.

RME is a separate CD it does not come with

CD-ONE 3rd Edition

Can you tell me what version of RME is stated

on the CD you have?

IPM can exists on its own, it does not need to

be installed on the same machine as

CiscoWorks.

Can you bring up the WEB GUI for CiscoWorks, open

up a browser, enter the URL

http://:1741

that would be the best test to see what is actually

installed, login with the default settings that is

listed in your packaging of CiscoWorks.

http://:1741 . The page opens up and I can login as admin but there is nothing to configure or set up in that html page. In the navigation tree (Pragrams>Ciscoworks2000) I dont have Device Manager or CiscoView. I can only see Change Integration option & Add/Delete Ciscoview Device Support. I have not installed RME. Firstly I want to have Cisco View, which I cannot see anywhere.

Will Ciscoview open from anywhere else. or ....
