Ciscoworks_Campusmanager_ANIServer failed to run

Hi All,

My LMS version 3.2 with SP 1. ANIServer status is found to be failed to run and while executing "pdshow ANIServer", observed that " Info   = Application failed or was registered incorrect".

Checked the ANIServer.properties, and the entry is like the below..

DEVICESROOT=E:\\progra~4\\campus\\lib\\classpath

Checked the ANIServer.properties.orig, and the entry is like the below..

DEVICESROOT=

which means no entry, might be it should not have such entry, i dont know..

Hence the possible work arounds in my mind are 1) ani.log log recovery 2) ani db reinitialization etc.. Is there any thing else i need to try ??

Can someone help plz..

That can be very messy. I'd go straight to a TAC case if you have support.

If you need to reinitialize a db on your own, I'd refer to Joe Clarke's how-to document.

This seems perfectly allright : DEVICESROOT=E:\\progra~4\\campus\\lib\\classpath. If by pasting this in to run field, your exloprer opens NMSROOT\campus\lib\classpath folder, than this is not the cause of the issue.

You should share the output of pdshow and pdreg -l ANIServer.
