Ciscoworks dmgtd swap space

Hi... I'm having similar issues to this thread (since answered):

https://supportforums.cisco.com/message/3256906#3256906

The services that are recommended to be auto or manual are set properly. If I try to start the LMS daemon, I get this error.

C:\Program Files\CSCOpx>net start crmdmgtd

The service is not responding to the control function.

More help is available by typing NET HELPMSG 2186.

I have the same error as in the thread:

---------- SYSLOG.LOG

Mar 30 14:19:03 127.0.0.1 dmgtd: ERROR : System swap space is not configured properly.

Mar 30 14:19:03 127.0.0.1 dmgtd: ERROR : Configure swap space and start Daemon Manager.

How do I configure 'swap space'?

Thanks

Adam

Ok, swap space = page file size. Changed it but still:

C:\Users\Administrator>net start crmdmgtd

The CiscoWorks Daemon Manager service is starting.

The CiscoWorks Daemon Manager service could not be started.

The service did not report an error.

More help is available by typing NET HELPMSG 3534.

Any suggestions?

Hi Adam,

What is the LMS version? What is the Windows version?

Please post the syslog.log that is located under CSCOpx\log

Also remember that the swap space is recommended to be twice the physical RAM size.

Andres
