I have been doing the synch archive of cisco MDS 9222i switch but it stopped working for some reason.
"Failed to get the start tag-Building Configuration ... in the configuration. Action: Check if protocol is supported by device and required device package is installed. Check device credentials. Increase timeout value, if required."
I have checked credentials and it is all good. Any idea ?
This is most likely caused by a timing issue when the prompt is being read for the first time. Unfortunately, there is no easy way to fix this in LMS 3.1. However, the problem is fixable in LMS 3.2. If you go to http://www.cisco.com/go/nmsevals/ and download the 3.2 eval, you can upgrade your LMS 3.1 installation to LMS 3.2. When you do, edit NMSROOT/objects/cmf/data/cmdsvc.properties, uncomment the line that contains TuneSleepMillis, then set the value of this property to 500 instead of 50. That is:
I believe your config archive job will succeed then.
