Hi Team,
Im using LMS 4.2, and i would like to increase snmp timeout of few RME devices. I did go thru as per the below URL but did not find RME > devices > device management option at all.
Is any other way to achive this ??
To set or edit the RME device attributes for a single RME device
Resource Manager Essentials > Devices > Device Management > RME Devices.
The problem is that, in HUM im getting no instance avail while creating interface utilization poller. so i was thinking in increasing in hum as well as in Rme.

Rajesh

Hi Rajesh,
this can be achive from here:
Admin > Network > Timeout and Retry Settings > Inventory/Config Timeout and Retry Settings
Increasing the timeout may not help with the HUM issue....
are you getting the same issue for all the device in HUM ?
Thanks-

Hi Afroj
When i create a new poller,l and select all 30 devices and select interface utilization, i get to see only 2 switches after clicking next.
So i think other devices are getting timedout.
Im planning to increase hum snmptimeout to 24 sec & retry to 5sec.
Due to this im not getting any interface utilization quick report for only those 20+ devices.
Any suggestions always welcome.
Regards
Rajesh

Hi Rajesh,
I would suggest you to Reintialize the UPM database as below:
stop the daemon manager (net stop crmdmgtd)
NMSROOT\bin\perl.exe NMSROOT\bin\dbRestoreOrig.pl dsn=upm dmprefix=UPM
start the daemon manager (net start crmdmgtd)
and check the issue after that..
Thanks-
Afroz
