hi everybody
i have installed ciscoworks snms 1.5 (wug 8, cv 6.0, rme3.5). when accessing ciscoview from the device-center i get a popup-window with message "page cannot be displayed" according to a very strange port following the correct ip-address in the url-string.
invoking cv directly from an icon on a map of whatsup gold works perfectly.
any hints or tips are very much appreciated

Guess, it could be due to hostname resolution. Are you using the hostname or the IP address.

Hi,
This is a bug documented under ID CSCin56485.
Work-around:
============
1)Remove NMSROOT\MDC\tomcat\webapps\snms\cmic\datastore\uds\records.db
file.
2) Open a command promt.
3) Execute "pdterm Tomcat"
4) Execute "pdexec Apache"
It works.
