Has anybody implemented CNR 7.1 on VMware? We would like to install a cluster on two physical VMware boxes--DHCP HA pair, and four DNS servers across the two servers.
According to Cisco this is a supported configuration.
Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Dave

It was deployed as production for the show network. All DNS/DHCP services were hosted from a pair of UCS C-200s running VMware 4.0 and CNR 7. We had no capacity issues with over 15,000 attendees. You can imagine a bunch of folks coming online in the morning and before/after sessions and key notes. The performance was great.
We trunked all VLANs into the UCS and were able to quickly accomodate new networks with new vNICs, rather than doing a bunch of network ip-helper reconfigs.

Yes, this operates very well.
We did this for CiscoLive/Networkers Las Vegas last summer and the performance was excellent.

Thanks for the response. Was this deployed as a production environment to run the conference or was this deployed for demo purposes?
Thanks,
Dave
