CNR 7.x in backup mode - licensing ?

Hello

For two physical servers to run CNR 7.x in backup mode,
do I need 2 licenses or just one?

I have single license, can install it on server #1.
Server #2 requests license after installation and if
server #1 is online, server #2 doesn't install the license (same license as on #1).
It just keep showing buttone "Browse" and "Cancel".
If I shut down server #1, then after 5 min server #2 installs the license as it should be.

Looks for me that they talk between and inform each other about
license, so I need two licenses apparently. Looking for
confirmation.

CNR is not licensed per server but per node/ip address that is leased.

I have license for 5K nodes/ip on server #1. To use second server #2 as a backup server
do I need to purchase another 5K nodes/ip license or I can utilize existing one?

You can use the same licenses as enforcment is based on nodes not the amount of servers.
