Configuration management of IPS through VMS

Hi,

I have a IPS 5.0 which is being managed through VMS 2.2 with IPS MC 2.1.

When i try to push configuration from VMS to IPS i get the follwing error.

The UI sensor version 5.0(1)S149.0 does not match the real sensor version 5.0(1)S206.0 no deployment for x.y.z.a

could someone please help

The "version does not match the real sensor version" error indicates that IPS is not in sync with the current software version on the sensor. Make sure they are in sync.On the IDS MC, go to the sensors identification section and hit the query sensor button to get the latest configuration from the sensor.Do this every time you manually update the signatures on the sensor.
