CP Express HTTP Port

Hi all,

im pretty new when it comes to configuring Cisco Routers but so far have managed to get it all up and running as I had hoped with one small exception.

I run an IIS webserver behind my router (887W) and have created a NAT rule to forward all port 80 (HTTP) traffic from the web to my webserver. Now if I connect from outside I can hit the webserver fine and pages are displayed as they chould but when I am on the internal LAN I keep hitting the CP Express login page. Is there a way to change the HTTP port of the CP Express to something such as 8080 (Example). Or do I need to do something faffier and setup a VLAN for management etc? I cant find anything in CCP to configure this and have not managed to find a CLI command on how to do this either. Any help would be amazing.

Thanks

Not sure you can change the default http port on a cisco router. You can disable http with the no ip http server command. You should be able to do ip http secure-server to access cp express via https. You can also configure the https port to be one other than the default 443 by using the ip http secure-port command, if supported by your ios version.

Hth,

Cary
