CPU Hog and reclaim ports

Hi,

I am having an issue with several switches being polled via SNMP by LMS.

They become unresponsive (as reported by Device Fault Manager alerts) and turn red on the

map. The log on the individual devices has this :

Mar 24 08:32:22: cfg_bridgePlatformNextTpFdbEntry: Error, forced exit of an infinite loop

on MAC Address 0100.5e00.00fb

Mar 24 08:32:22: %SYS-3-CPUHOG: Task ran for 10156 msec (26970/22), process = IP SNMP, PC

= 801D1C9C.

-Traceback= 801D1CA4 80076610

I am also having an issue with LMS being unable to generate a report on reclaiming unused

access ports. It always displays the message "Report not available - No Reclaim Unused

Up/Down ports found." despite the fact that there are unused ports on the switch.

Please check,

Thanks.

I will address the CPUHOG issue in this thread. Start a new thread for your Campus issue.

What is the IOS image running on the device that generated this stack trace?
