Creating Automated Action in RME for just specific Switch Device ports

Is there a way in Ciscoworks RME (LMS 3.1) that you can create an automated action on a "specific" managed device port ? I would only want to select a few ports on a 6509 Cat Switch to have LINK UPDOWN syslog messages send out email notifications for just the selected ports. Does anyone know if this is possible in Cworks ?

Sure. Just match on the description. For example:

Facility : LINK

Severity : 3

Mnemonic : UPDOWN

Description *5/13*

You could add multiple messages for the different interfaces you are interested in.
