CW2K: Campus Manager > Descrepancy (VTP Pruning?)

My Descrepancy Reports show a "Trunk VLANs Mismatch" between two 3550s.

Is these because I have vtp pruning enabled? I notice a show vlan on switchA has fewer vlans that switchB.

I don't believe that's caused by vtp.

To my knowledge vtp reduces only the traffic of not needed vlans, not their existence.

'show vlan' should show the same result with or without pruning because vtp refreshes the 'vlan.dat' which stores vlan information.

What about 'switchport trunk allowed vlan ...' (interface configuration)

Maybe that's the reason for your descrepancy?

The allowed vlans were identical on both swithes. I confirmed this with "show int gig0/1 switchport".
