DCNM vs Cisco Prime Infr 1.2

Can someone tells me when I need DCNM?   I have Nexus 5K and 2K in the DC. According to Datasheet, Cisco Prime 1.2 supports these devices. What will be the additional value to install also DCNM. I'm interested in Config management and fault management.

DCNM will allow you to better visualize and provision the Nexus environment, including SAN (especially Fibre channel) pieces.

PI (and LMS) also have the limitation of not being able to configure VLANs on the Nexus 5k. You can still manage device configuration files and do fault management.
