I am looking for best practices or good advice on how to use Ciscoworks when deploying devices.
We have a lab that we will use to copy the correct IOS to the device. Also we have a basic config and then each device has unique paramaters for its configuration.
We are looking for a way to ensure consistency and accuracy using Ciscoworks.
Is there some easy way to create configs with the individual device changes within Ciscoworks, then copy them to the device's flash?
Thanks

This is doable using RME's Baseline Compliance feature. You can create baseline templates with variable parameters. These parameters can then be filled in when deploying any missing configuration to the devices. Baseline Compliance can be found under RME > Config Mgmt > Archive Mgmt.
You can also create parameterized Netconfig templates with associated command files containing the variable values for specific devices. Custom Netconfig templates can be created under RME > Config Mgmt > Netconfig > User-defined tasks. Additionally, the context-sensitive Netconfig help offers more details on parameterized templates.
