Device limit for CiscoWorks LMS

Can anyone tell me if there is a practical managed device limit for a single installation of LMS running on a dual processor server with 2Gb memory and 72Gb hard disks?

If seen LMS/Solaris managing about 2500 devices. But I think that is about the limit.
