DFM 1.2 LMS2.2 Processor ID description

One frustrating part of troubleshooting high CPU alerts generated In DFM, is the lack of description of the specific CPU. If you have a device eg 7507 router with 4 cpu's and you get an alert from one there is no way to see wich CPU it is unless you run the "sh controllers vip 2 proc cpu" or "sh proc cpu" commands. DFM only labels them with 'PSR-RTXXX/1 or /2 or /3 or /4.

Does anyone know what the order is when assigning these "deviceID" and for what processor? Is there a better description in LMS2.5?

Cheers

Will

You can query the SNMP objects cpmCPUTotal5Min or avgBusy5 to find out in what order the CPUs are getting listed in the SNMP MIBs.
