I am getting repeated alarms from DFM regarding a new 3550 switch that I am monitoring in Ciscoworks. For some reason the alarm doesn't seem to make sense to me. If I am reading it correctly it is telling me that I have a packet rate of about 75pps on my GE ports, but a broadcast rate of 6.0682523E10%... I don't even know how that is possible!
Is this a spurious message? I have over 30 switches, and this is the only one giving me this error. It is coming every few minutes. I can't re-boot the switch, either. Any ideas? Text of alarm below:

It is reporting HighBroadcastRate for the interface

Yah, I sort of figured that out. My point was, it shows the input broadcast rate at InputPacketBroadcastPct=6.0682523E10, which is 60 BILLION PERCENT!!! At the same time, it is reporting input packet rate at InputPacketRate=73.36514 PPS. This is on a GE interface. Any clue why I have the disparity?
