Differences between the CRC counters of access points, routers, and switches

Hello,

at the moment I am busy with the reading from different values ​​of routers, access points and switches. For this I use the MIB database. At the moment I am dealing with the CRC errors, the OID is 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.2.1.1.12.

My question is what differences there are between the different devices.The data from routers and switches found match the ones directly checked on the device. Only in relation to the access point does the counter behave differently and deliver hardly any values. Can someone tell me why the counter behaves differently with access points.?

 

For example, the data comes from the following devices: Cisco 896VA Router, Cisco 3560CX Switch, and Cisco 2702 and 2802 Access Points.
