duplicate IP's in RME

I have some 700 devices in my network, 140 of them routers with multiple interfaces. I want to use LMS 2.6 to keep track of inventory. When I run a report and compare it to the paper inventory I currently have I find that CW is reporting a device sometimes 3 times using different interfaces.

what's the deal???

Check RME > Devices > Device Management > Alias Devices to see if you have entries there. If you do, resolve the aliases, and this problem should go away.
