EEM for local host route injection

Hello all,

i want to achieve a specific functionality.

i have a catalyst 3850 with several L3 Vlans. on specific SVI, i want to detect automatically the active hosts that are connected to this Vlan-SVI and for those hosts, installing a /32 routes into the catalyst 3850 RIB table.

is it possible via EEM or other programability tool ?

In order to know if something is possible via EEM just ask how would you do this manually using the CLI or SNMP?  Are you thinking of pinging each host on the SVI's subnet then installing host routes for those that respond?  If that is an acceptable approach, then yes, this is definitely doable with EEM.
