Anyone Know if it's available a PC Client free trial to test EnergyWise with non PoE devices?

Also there is an eval for 100 client (L-EWOR-2-EVAL): http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/switches/ps5718/ps10195/data_sheet_c78-577722.html

you can download this from cisco.com software -> downloads -> switches -> orchestrator

Cisco EnergyWise Orchestrator supposedly ships a Windows PC agent.

Thank you. Yesterday I test EnergyWise in our 3750 switch's with PoE devices and today I'd like to test with another devices, like PC's.

Yes, they offer, but I'd like to have a way of testing and maybe convince my boss to invest in Energywise Orchestrator.

If the above link doesn't offer a free trial download, I think the best bet would be to contact your Cisco account team or reseller to arrange for an eval copy. I'd be curious to know if they ship a Mac OS X client too.

If I know something about the Mac OS client I will post here

I have cisco 3560 switch i want to setup energywise for Computers , I Push a orchestrator client agent and monitor and setup policy at server end So what Cisco switch will do in this whole scenarion as switch is not providing power to the PC as in PoE situation

I want to know what special Cisco Switch is doing in this whole situation that we need new IOS update , Its just forwarding Packets

I hope it make any sence
