Entering carriage returns in Netconfig.

Hi,

Does anyone know of a way to enter carriage returns within user defined tasks in NetConfig?

If this is not possible, has anyone tried this before and found a workaround?

i am trying to save the startup config to the local slot0: and a carriage return is required when naming the file and overwriting the old one.

You could always trying using a

The actually means "response to follow".

A without a response means "accept the default". If you wanted to use a different file for a write net, the command would be:

write net192.168.1.1my-rtr.cfg

And if you wanted to acknowledge each prompt explicitly:

write net192.168.1.1my-rtr.cfgy

Looks similar to HTML tags, but is actually tags that are used when doing cli configs on devices. have a look at this link:
