Solved: Firepower upgrade

I have a mangement center 6.1.0.6 and Firepower 5.4.

I need upgrade firepower 5.4 to 6.0. is it required to upgrade the Managment center also?

Hi There,

Your current FMC can manage devices up version to 6.1 (and anything below).

As long as your current sensor is not a major version higher than the FMC you will not need to upgrade the management center.

From your message, it looks like you are upgrading your sensor to 6.0 and your current FMC is 6.1.0.6. This means you will not need to upgrade you management centre.

First need to upgrade FMC before upgrade to FTD, read realease notes before upgrade
