I am running HDMI over Ethernet on a Monoprice 1x4 HDMI Amplifier Splitter over CAT5e/CAT6 Complete Solution Kit - Extended up to 164ft, using 1 splitter and 4 receivers.
When running a cell phone within 10ft of the ethernet cable or the converter box, the video feed is dropped. I’m wondering if I put an Ethernet booster on the cable will it help? And if I use a booster, is there any risk of damaging the HDMI receiver? What do you recommend for running HDMI signal longer than 100ft (cost effectively)
Thank you for your help,
