How do you check your network for MTU mismatch?

We have a network of about 1500 routers and switches, and finding MTU mismatch is quite a chore. Not only you have to collect MTU information from every Physical and Virtual interface, but we need to pair the connections as per connectivity matrix, and also resolve any L3 SVI to attach them to proper L2 interface.

My goal is to have a table for Source Dev, Source Int, Source MTU, Destination Dev, Destination Int, Destination MTU, Protocol for all STP, CDP, OSPF, EIGRP etc.

Do you use scripts? Is it possible with Prime?

Thanks

 - This shouldn't be the main focus, if 'standard devices' are being used, Better is to have knowledge as to 'whom' needs a larger MTU and why and or if a standard MTU can be set on the device.
