How many vlan on a 2960 cisco switch?

i am taking networking + course and have to do some research on this topic but i am cons=fused by the information i am finding

any help? 

question which was asked and i would like better understanding is:

how many vlan on a 2960 cisco switch

there are basic range (1 to 1005) and extended range of vlans (1006 to 4094). there are reserved numbers u cannot use 1002-1005 (all switches have those numbers reserved)
all switches do support basic range, not sure if c2960 support extended, they should.
