HI,
Please advise that how much RAM is requied on server hosting CiscoWorks. Our CiscoWorks is running like snail. We have 3200 logical devices configured on it. Specially browing different pages of CiscoWorks is very very slow.
Also advise that how big hard drive will be enough for CiscoWorks with below applications installaed and configured with 3200 devices.. Currently we have 65GB Harddrive and its 85% full.
Server Platform: Windows 2003 server 32-bit
Server RAM: 4GB
Hard Drive: 63GB-CiscoWorks is installed on this Harddrive.
Another Partition of Harddrive is 130GB and its 100% free.
LMS: 3.2.1
RME: 4.3.1
CM:5.2.1

Hi,
Here is the Server requirements based on the number of the devices manged :-
Since you have pretty good number of devices, you can also implement Large Scale deployment of CiscoWorks where you can manage different application on the different servers like RME one single server since it usually take more space as it backup the configuration of devices and usually the syslog will grow over a period of time . In the similar way you can install Campus Manager and DFM on another server . All of these server will be sync with each other using the concept of Master and Slave and you can also use the Sigle Sign On (SSO) feature where you need to login on one server and then need to login on other server GUI seperately.

We are currently running LMS 4.0 on a 2 vCPU and 16 GB of ram in order to accomodate over 700 network devices. Even then sometimes the server still has issues and I have stop/start the cisco LMS services. This application relies heavily on JAVA and MySQL so the more ram the better the performance because java will take it all.
