How to configure Snmp Trap in switch and monitor in server

Hi all,

 

I want to know how to configure the switch to server to monitor to snmp trap.

to turn on snmp traps on a switch the command is (conft)snmp-server enable traps
That will turn on every trap or you can chose which ones with ?

If I do the snmp-server enable traps, how do I choose which notifications/traps I want?

You can configure SNMPv2c traps quickly with just two commands:

! Enables all traps
snmp-server enable traps
!
!…or select some, for example:
! snmp-server enable traps cpu envmon ospf
!
snmp-server host 10.1.1.10 public
