How to know if image update will provide me a wanted feature ?

Hello,

For example I got old Nexus C5672UP. With old NX-OS - 7.0(8)N1(1).

And I need to know if update to last recommended version will give me an option to send a syslog to particular port. When im digging into last reference guide (https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/datacenter/nexus5600/sw/system_management/7x/b_5600_System_Mgmt_Config_7x.html)  i dont see desstination port option.

But from other sources i know that 7.1(1)N1(1) already have that option included.

So, my question is how officially know if the selected update will provide me needed function ?
