How to monitor Ciscoworks ?

Hi,

I need to monitor ciscoworks. Is there a way to verify that Ciscoworks is running well with SNMP, TCP connect on a list of ports,... ?

The best thing to monitor is the output of the pdshow command. Problem states are "Failed to run" and "Waiting to initialize". Some daemons may be down as part of regular operation, but none should ever be in those two states.
