                   Hi all,

the customer has a following problem. He cleared a counter for the interface FE and from this time the snmp counter for iIfInDiscarrds remains same:-( See the output:

NIX4-C1# sh int et 4/2

Ethernet4/2 is up

  Hardware: 10000 Ethernet, address: d0d0.fdb8.8475 (bia d0d0.fdb8.8475)

  Description: NIX4-acc1 (850nm) #4

0 input with dribble  82 input discard

#snmpwalk from a server

iso.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.13.437784576 = Counter32:

82

It is before clearing counters. Than the customer cleared interface and after some time the output is following:

NIX4-C1# sh int et 4/2

Ethernet4/2 is up

  Hardware: 10000 Ethernet, address: d0d0.fdb8.8475 (bia d0d0.fdb8.8475)

  Description: NIX4-acc1 (850nm) #4

0 input with dribble  287072 input discard

#snmpwalk from a server

iso.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.13.437784576 = Counter32:

82  - so there is no increment value (in this case - 287154)

The problem is on the Nexus 7000 C7010, NXOS - version 6.1(2) and ports are on the card N7K-F132XP-15.

Thank you

Bestr Regards

Roman

PS. Maybe this problem is linked with the change of the congestion-control algorithm from trust optimized to mesh optimized.
