Importing CiscoWorks 4.0.1 to Prime Infrastructure 1.2

Hello,

I have been looking for a document that outlines the process for importing data, devices, and saved configs from CiscoWorks 4.0.1 to Prime Infrastructure 1.2. First of all is it possible? And if so, where is a document I can reference?

PI 1.2 does not yet have feature parity with LMS. AFAIK there's not yet a migration path (data-wise) for LMS 4.x into PI 1.2.

At this point in time you're better moving up to the latest LMS (4.2.2) and waiting for PI 2.0 which is supposed to greatly increase the feature parity with the LMS product.

Thanks. I am going to plan to upgrade to LMS 4.2.2 and will wait for PI 2.0 to be released. I will update this blog with my findings.

Have you found out whether it is possible to Import the Complete Data of LMS 4.2.2 into PI 2.0?
