I have a exanic x25 and currently with a new firmware i have generated the tx buffer size is coming up as 32kb. I wanted to know how and from where can we increase this size of the tx buffer.
Any help or suggestion would be really helpful. Thank you for the help in advance

Hello,
I have zero experience with the ExaNICs. I could not find anything other than the FDK, which apparently lets you, at most, reduce the TX buffer to 16, but not increase it...

Hello,
I checked the documentation, I am not sure I understand how libexanic works, but scroll down to the section 'Transmit' and 'Trasmit Preload' which apparently let you increase the TX buffers.

Hey thanks a lot for the reply. I had gone through these documents. But wanted to know how to increase the tx buffer size by generating a firmware image(i.e writing RTL) rather than making any change in software code.
Because the default firmware image given by cisco has the tx buffer as 128kb, but the moment i make changes in the user application code and generate a new firmware and check the tx buffer becomes 32kb.

yes, thanks a lot. This was very helpful.
I have also got some more information regarding the tx buffers in FDK, attaching it below just for reference.
