Interfaces Down in NNM when do a Backup in CiscoWorks

Hi,

Whe have NNM and Cisco Works. All day we make a Backup (configurations of all devices) in CiscoWorks. When (and only) we are doing the CiscoWorks` backup, several interfaces are noticed as "Down" on NMM in our core devices (but there are not problems in network). Could it be a problem or some type of priority in snmp process on Core devices?

I have not heard of such problems before.  How is NNM determining these interfaces are down?  Is it relying on SNMP traps, or is it using polling?  Can you get a packet capture of all traffic between the NNM server and such a device when LMS is taking a configuration backup?  If so, post the capture file.
