23-May-2019 08:50:03 :%IPADTBL-N-IPDUPLICATE: Duplicate IP address 192.168.1.254 from MAC 00:09:0f:09:00:04 was detected on VLAN 1, port-channel Po11, aggregated (10)
I have this error filling up my logs and can't figure out where it is coming from. The IP listed is the IP of the Fortinet 200E router for this building and the MAC belongs to Fortinet. BUT.... When I ran wireshark it is seeing the duplicate as well but comes back with the following:
Duplicate IP address detected for 192.168.0.120 (90:b1:1c:1f:57:a0) - also in use by b8:ac:6f:87:49:2c
When I look up those MAC addresses they belong to Dell but I am not able to find those MAC addresses on any of my switches or router and that IP makes no sense either...
