IPBase and DHCP

Can a router with IPBase license have a physical interface receive a DHCP IP address? I know it can act as a DHCP server for connected devices, but I need to know if a physical port can receive a DHCP IP address from another DHCP server.

Basically, my configured WAN port will not receive an IP address. I can configure it as static and everything works fine. If I connect a computer to the DHCP server, my computer picks up the IP just fine.

you should be configure like below

interface gi0/0

ip address dhcp

no shutdown

test and advice or if not working post the config.

Yeah. That is how it's configured. I have configured ports like this hundreds of times but never on IP Base. It just won't pick up an IP.
