Hi

Question regarding move RME

I'm going to move RME from DCR master to a DCR slave server, to increase performance.

Is it possible to restore all data, from a backup (created on the RME install on the master DCR server) ?

If so what is the correct procedure for this ?

The backup piece will work just fine. However, the problem here is that once you enable slave mode on the new server, all of the information on the slave will be purged when the new DCR is loaded. Therefore, you will not be able to do what you want as you will lose the data you want to preserve.
