LMS 3.2 on Solaris 10 - RME 4.3.1 problem with WS-SVC-NAM-2

Hi All,

I'm having an issue where our LMS 3.2 server, running RME 4.3.1, can neither collect inventory nor sync archive on our NAM blades.

The server has connectivity to them and the SNMP strings are properly configured. Am I missing anything?

When I run a Inventory Collection Job I get the following result:

RICS0001:Internal Error, unable to process the collected data from the device.

Thanks,

Jose Ribeiro

This looks like CSCsu95741.  What application image is this NAM running on and what is the result of an SNMP walk to sysDescr?

Hi Joel,

Thanks for the response. When I run a snmpwalk asking for sysDescr I get the following:

-bash-3.00$ snmpwalk -v 2c -c xxxxxxxx 10.86.214.95 sysDescr

If I run the command "snmpwalk -v 2c -c xxxxxxx 10.86.214.95" without the sysDescr I get the whole nine yards of information. I'm pasting below what I think you were looking for:

Yes this looks like CSCsu95741 as the description exceeds 255 characters due to the patch information.  You should upgrade your NAM to one of the latest application versions which you can download from here.  Then this error should be fixed in RME.
